Travel Rewards & Recognition Policy
Eduse Marketing Private Limited may introduce various domestic and international travel reward programs from time to time to recognize and reward the achievements of eligible Direct Sellers (DSs). This policy outlines the terms and conditions applicable to such travel reward programs and related cash alternatives.
Purpose of the Policy
This policy has been formulated to ensure compliance with applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961, including Section 194R, and to facilitate timely utilization of travel rewards or cash alternatives by eligible Direct Sellers.
Applicability
This policy shall apply to all travel reward promotions, incentive tours, leadership trips, international travel programs, recognition tours and similar campaigns launched by Eduse Marketing Private Limited from time to time.
Travel Reward Eligibility
Eligible Direct Sellers shall qualify for travel rewards based on the terms and conditions of the respective promotion or incentive program announced by the company.
The list of qualified Direct Sellers may be published on the company's official website, mobile application, user dashboard or other communication platforms as determined by the company.
Travel Reward Utilization
Qualified Direct Sellers are required to avail the travel reward or opt for an approved alternative within the period specified by the company for the respective promotion.
If the travel reward is not utilized within the prescribed period, the company may process the reward in accordance with applicable tax regulations and company policies.
Tax Deduction at Source (TDS)
In accordance with Section 194R of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and any subsequent amendments thereto, benefits or perquisites provided under travel reward programs may be subject to Tax Deduction at Source (TDS).
Eligible Direct Sellers may be required to deposit or bear the applicable TDS amount before availing the travel reward. The company shall deposit the applicable TDS with the appropriate tax authorities and issue necessary tax documentation as required by law.
Direct Sellers may verify the corresponding tax credit through their Income Tax records, Form 26AS or other applicable tax portals.
Travel Documentation
Direct Sellers opting for international travel rewards may be required to submit a valid passport, visa documents, identification documents and any other information required by travel authorities, embassies, airlines or government agencies.
Failure to provide required documentation within the prescribed timelines may result in cancellation of travel benefits.
Transfer of Travel Benefits
Travel rewards are generally non-transferable and intended solely for the qualified Direct Seller.
In exceptional circumstances, transfer to an immediate family member or blood relative may be considered at the sole discretion of the company, subject to submission of supporting documents and approval.
Minimum Participation Requirement
To ensure cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements, the company reserves the right to schedule group travel only when a minimum number of qualified participants is achieved.
If the required participation threshold is not met, the company may modify, reschedule or provide an alternative reward structure as deemed appropriate.
Travel Cost Determination
The final cost of any travel reward package shall be determined based on actual travel expenses, accommodation charges, transportation costs, taxes, administrative expenses and other related costs applicable at the time of booking.
Visa Rejection or Travel Restrictions
In cases where a Direct Seller is unable to travel due to visa rejection, government restrictions, regulatory issues or other circumstances beyond the individual's control, the company may review the case and determine an appropriate resolution as per applicable policies.
No Show Policy
If a qualified Direct Seller confirms participation and travel arrangements have already been finalized but subsequently fails to undertake the journey without valid justification, the travel reward may be treated as utilized and no additional benefit, replacement or compensation may be provided.
Modification or Cancellation
Eduse Marketing Private Limited reserves the right to modify, postpone, substitute or cancel any travel reward program due to operational requirements, government regulations, force majeure events, travel restrictions or any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company.
